Obstacles

In the story "On Top Of The Wolrd" Hillary and Norgay faced many obstacles. The first obstacle they faced was the cold because it was -27.F and they needed to wear three layers of gloves, coats, pants to not get sick. The other obstacle they needed to face was the food, because when they ran out of food different camps needed to bring extra food for Hillary and Norgay. Third obstacle was that since there wasn't alot of air they needed to carry a 30lb oxygen tank but it stated to run out. Forth reason was when Hillary and Norgay were about to reach the summit there was a 40 feet high rock in there way,and that effected them to not get to the summit and they thought that they lost against the mountain.Because of Hillary and Norgay passing the obstacles they succeded to climb Mt. Everest.
